Flat black '73 RSR

This project has been on the back burner for a while but is finally near completion. Just took it out for a first spin and shot a couple of pics...

Most common question so far... "what color you gonna paint it?"

This is it... primer black!

Looks menacing, love flat back. Nice job on the interior as well. What kind of motor?

What size are those fuchs - they look bad ass and really 'make' the car IMHO.

In the words of George Thorogood, that looks... bad to the bone.

Stock steering wheel, though? That interior kind of cries out for a matte-black-spoked Prototipo, doesn't it?

In any case, that's an awesome-looking RSR.

What are the specs!

Are those real 15" RSR wheels ( I think I remember you buying them?)

Looks like one of those thicker grip RS wheels which are kind of cool....
I'd keep it.
Great looking car!

You need to quit your day job and build cars full time. Your approach to building these cars is resulting in some very memorable projects. VERY WELL DONE! I can't wait for the next one.

Premature question. I suppose primer black is not the same as black primer. May I assume it's paint (color coat) that has the same color/sheen as primer?

Just watched a build up show on Spike TV where they sprayed a
satin clear coat over the primer black to keep it menacing.
Maybe a few flat red graphics like a skull and crossbones would
totally peg the intimidation factor!
Nice work!

That's great - very mean looking. Huge rubber in the rear.
