Headlight Pull Switch

Can anyone confirm if the headlight pull-switch is supposed to be illuminated? Mine isn't and I was wondering if the bulb might be burnt out.

Thx,

T...

Mine isn't, but I guess it could depend on the year of the car.

Neither is mine. There's nothing under the plastic emblem on the switch. I've always thought that a headlight switch does not need to be illuminated anyhow. If the headlight is on, it's pretty obvious with all the other interior lights being on. When it is off, that means you don't need headlights or interior lights which in turn means you can probably see the actual switch, i.e. day time. Either that or the switch needs to be lit at all times so when it gets dark you can see where it is and pull it.

No illumination on mine either. It would be nice if it did like the Hazard button. or at least glow. I hate it when the Valet hits my wiper switch.

Maybe I can put some gun sight glow paint over the head light diagram on the knob ???

Sorry to say it does not illuminate.

That's truly unfortunate.

I know, I know but some places just won't let you park it. Insurance Issues. I do ask them if they know how to drive a cable clutch. If I get a dazed look back, I give few extra bucks try and park it myself.

I cringe when they sit there trying to figure out where the ignition is.

87 does not illuminate. But why does my fog light button need to illuminate then? Kind of annoying green button above the stereo.

Exactly what I was thinking. I hate rummaging around in the dark looking for my headlight switch. I wonder if I can retrofit a bulb?
