Do these badges fall off? Or why does it seem many people are missing the badge? I recently purchased an 88 CE and it didn't have a badge or even a mark where it may have been...

The factory didn't fix the badges on the car but delivered them loose. The owner could mount the badges if they wanted, but I'm guessing most didn't. Just like a lot of the other glove box items, the badges probably got lost or forgotten somewhere in the car's life.

Thanks. That explains it.

I'd live to get one. Are any originals ever sold?

I just bought an 88 CE that was a wide body project. All original 930 parts and a 930 slant nose side skirt.
I have all the original fenders and sides, bumper pieces. So I can convert it back to original at some point.

Personally, I like the wide body look and it's fun to drive. That G50 is smooth.
Obviously doesn't have the pep of a 930.

What are your thoughts?

Personally I like the wide body look and wider tires.

Hello All,

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I am getting a replica made of the USA version of the 911 CE coin and will have a few (at least to start) copies for sale for anyone interested. I've been through multiple artwork revisions prior to approving the mold and we are about to get the coins into production. They should be shipping to me around Oct. 1st.

I am offering them here only as a community service to those similar to me who own a CE car and have spent hours searching for original ones online, or found them for sale at stratospheric prices! I am selling them at basically my cost to produce, $50 per coin, plus shipping to you.

Anyone interested please send me a PM here and we can coordinate payment and shipping.

Here's a sample of the artwork, coin will be made from iron and have an antique silver finish. I added a 'replica' laser logo on the back to avoid any copyright or trademark issues should they arise.

Admins and long time users, I am unsure if this is supposed to go in the FS section? if so, I can repost there?
