Does anyone know if factory oil lines (brass?) can be sandblasted to bring out the luster.

sandblasting would clean it but leave it dull and ruff. try using steel wool, emery cloth or other fine abrasive.

maybe bead blasting? brass is pretty soft. sandblasting could eat right thru it in the hands of an inexperienced person. how about a scotchbrite- type pad.
