Tourque wrench setting
I stopped by the local tire store today. I am well known there. I the only person to locally own a Porsche 911 for about a 75 mile radius. We got to talking. They wanted to know about the tourque setting for the 06 Carerra RS. They wanted to know if they were really supposed to go to 406 Ft pounds? **** I don't know. My early car only gets set to 80lbs. Whats the deal? I told them I would find out. Any body want to help me explain. 406 The only other thing I could find even close was a F-40 or Enzo for 486 ftpds. This is for the one center type lug nut right?

Are you talking about the torque that the engine produces or the torque spec for the lug nuts? Confused.

LOL. Yeah...tell those pimply-faced kids the next time someone shows up with an '06 Porsche RS, they should torque the wheel nuts/lugs to 406 ft./lbs.
