Need some help - clutch removal

It's been a good day so far, engine out in record time, 2 hr (my best yet).

Got the CIS off no problem.

Now I need to get the clutch off. The 9 bolts have been removed but no dice...any suggestions.

TIA

The nine allen head bolts are all that keep the pressure plate in. Take a mallot and wack it good, and pry it with a screw driver or something.

There's your problem, you shoulda been up to 5 or 6 before getting frustrated and coming to us! You won't have enough "breakin' da parts" strength to use that mallet properly with only 2 beers in ya!!

Wow you removed an engine & seperated the transmission with just one beer!

I am impressed. It usually takes me several beers to do an oil change

Darn, now a need the 12-point/21mm tool for the next step, should have done my homework, it's not like there is a tech article on this or anything...oh well, I have plenty of other work while I find one.

You won't find it at Sears, I had to get one from a friend of mine. Escondido? I would be careful of drinking to fast today, especially in escondido. Yesterday I drank six rapidly because of the inherent tastiness and coolness and got a little dehydrated ( heck of a buzz though )
Good luck!

Look up your local snap-on dealer, he should have one.
