Pelicans in/around Louisville, KY 11/08
Who wants to get together for an impromptu Pelican Gathering?  I’ll be in Louisville & Shelbyville through about Dec. 1. I’m not available Thanksgiving day but it would be fun together some day/evening.  I’m staying with my Dad in Crescent Hill area. There are plenty of great eateries on Frankfort Ave. Please post all. Grady,
I would love to meet the legend. My mom is up in that area working on a project for a while. I am confused about the dates you will be there though. Please verify adn I will see if I can make it up.

Guys,
I just about to scout out an eatery / watering hole suitable for Pelicans (lots of water). It will be in the area of I-64 and Grinstead Drive to Frankfort Ave. and State St. (I know - nuveau yuppy-land). We grew up here and family here in the Highlands and Crecent Hill from the '70s (that is 1870s) Keep posting, perhaps some can share a ride. Best, Grady

Guys,
I'm thinking about tomorrow, Sunday afternoon / evening Nov. 23, 2008. I'll still be here next Sunday so two Gatherings of the Flock are possible. I'm at the DPL (EDIT Louisville PL) on Frankfort Ave. now and from here I'm going to scout two Pelican Wildlife Refuges at I-64 and Grensted Dr. (I-64 Exit #8). I'll report later. I'm open for most any day except Thanksgiving day. I missed the local PCA meeting by about three days. All I want is for everyone (Pelicans, PCA, anyone) to get together and talk Porsche. You know ... a face-to-face version of the Forum. I'm open to ideas. Best, Grady

OK, here is the plan. At least 'round 1'.
We are having a Gathering of the Pelican Flock at 3 PM until ? today Sunday Nov. 23, 2008. Anyone interested in Porsche is welcome. Location: KT's Resturant & Bar 2300 Lexington Rd. Louisville, KY 40206-0282 502-458-8888 www.ktresturant.com Sunday Nov. 23, 2008, 3 PM 'til ? This is close to the intersection of I-64 and Grensted Dr. (I-64 Exit #8). Immediately South of the interstate exit is the intersection of Grenstead Drive and Lexington Rd. The KT's Resturant is just West of the intersection on the South side of the road (left turn OK). There is a BIG parking lot so our Porsches will be OK. They have lots of TVs so you can keep track of a 'big game'. Weather predicted nice, sunny, mid-50s. Resturant fair is regular - modest. Big salid $9, ribeye dinner $15, chicken fettuccini alfredo $12, rubin $9, club $8. I suppose drinks are simular. Tea & lemonade $3/gallon. Dutch. Please RSVP so I can stake-out enough seats. They don't have Wi-Fi. If someone brings their card we cam post "wish you were here" images. See you at 3 PM. Best, Grady
