Worthwhile Gizmos

Ready to do your part to stimulate the economy?

This is a very useful tool - and it lasts quite a while between battery charges. It won't burn your hand either.

Griot's has it for $40 + shipping. BUT Home Despot has it for about $15 - I was able to use a freebie card by exchanging points from my credit card, so I got it "free."

"Home Despot has it for about $15 "

Typo or social commentary Randy?

BTW looks like a handy light to keep in the car ...

Nice! I get tired of my cord getting caught around the tires. May have to grab one of those as a stocking stuffer.

not a typo

I keep a small halogen flashlight in my glove box - a light weight light.

This is Snap-on brand. The light is very directional, it doesn't cast a broad pattern but is very bright and safe around fuel sources. I use two at a time with great results.

Goin' shoppin' @ HD tomorrow! Gotta change trans fluid, flush brakes and tech my car this weekend; looks like I won't need to drag my extension cord out.
