Love seeing all the family cars parked together there! Cute

They did not laugh at me at the garage today, in fact, they were impressed at how quickly & easily the steamer worked, and how good the glass looked overall. I'm going to borrow a tiny mini steamer wand from a friend, and next chance I get, I'll hit that spot with some Windex, and use the little wand which should fit back there fine, and clean up a couple of little stray spots and it'll be 100% good to go.

I had thick fog and torrential rain to deal with on my drive home tonight, and I really appreciated the vastly improved visibility all around. Yay!

I applied the steam until the tint was good and soggy and starting to loosen, then I started digging a little with a fingernail in the top corner of the window where it meets the (A?) pillar, feeling for a loose spot. I had no trouble at all working up a bit of the edge to grab, and once I had it, the rest came up in a single sheet, just a couple of tiny spots of glue residue left behind which, with a little more steam, wiped right off. I kept the steam going as I worked, and mostly peeled the tint material back on itself, rather than pulling it away from the window. The side and wing windows took me less than a minute each from first application of steam to tint-free, clean window.
