Show us your Project!!
It amazes me, There are so many cool cars around this site!. Every time I open up the Pelican Parts web site I am struck by another cool idea or car.
Now if like me you have the car and the key's but it is in a million pieces in the shed post a pic and a time taken of the build................... Or even better! If you have just finished.................... Well Done. Mine has taken 2 years so far. (nearly there) ![]()

I really like the stand you have the car on. Did you make that yourself? Very cool.

Cheers! The wheels are replica fuchs 8's and 9's. The bar in front saves the paint and is handy when moving it around. The stand has adjustable heights and was made by me (not as nice as it could be but it works well) .

That engine is gorgeous. Is the metal painted or simply very clean?

It's just silver hammertone paint (over good epoxy primer), something I learned to like back in my Italian car days. Going from ALFA to Porsche is like curing your opium habit with heroin.
Phil Al, I'll post some more soon; these are old |

Yes, Phil, I would like more info and photos, please!
Do you have a thread going? I love the color. Is this a 911T/R sort of car?

Forward oil tank for weight distribution but I don't see the lines. Custom center fill tank to let the oil tank mount further forward. Battery box delete. Looks like custom forward oil coolers from the AN fitting coming out in front of the wheel, but the front looks modified for stealth center- mount cooler? And is that knob fwd of the shifter for brake bias? Looks very interesting- I like. I second the request to see more of this one... |

OK,
I'll start a thread in a week or so with more particulars. The knob is the heater control; I'm not afraid of robbing the VW bus parts bin. The car is just a hot rod and not meant to replicate anything; it's made up of bits that I like and think will work well. One guiding principle is to make it as unlike anything from Miami as possible. Phil |
