Effectiveness of evaporator box wrap
I have a stock a/c system (134 converted) on my 86 Carrera. It's performance is acceptable. However I have the evaporator box out and was wondering if I should wrap it in insulation before I reinstall. Will it help performance or is it a waste of money?

I wrapped mine and it helps IMHO.

I wrapped mine when I upgraded the AC because it came with the kit. But there were so many other changes its impossible to tell if it made a difference. I would not take the evap out just to wrap it but since you already have it out go for it. I don't see how it could possibly hurt.
