Brad
Your shots were wayyyyyyyyy better than mine. Was good to meet you there, same the security guy didn't like us in front of the fence!!!! Tomorrow I'm off to buy a bigger memory card so I can take even more bad photos - anyway practice makes perfect.

![]() I'll be flying in too late to justify a ticket for Friday. I've got to go from the SJ airport to pick up tix at will-call in Seaside, and thought I could catch the PB express bus over to glimpse whatever is happening over there at Pebble Beach. Looks like I could at least see the moto-retro and maybe the Blackhawk auction. I'm asking you seasoned folks, does that seem do-able? Also it looks like I can ride free to the track on Saturday - even from way down in Gonzales where I'm staying. Is that correct? Will the buses be over-packed? I appreciate any insight I can get. Oh, since I'll misss the wine tour, I've been trying to figure out where the speakers will present on Friday. that is another option I'm considering for post arrival, before I get to Gonzales if I can't work some Pebble Beach experience. Thanks for any advise... |

I'm going up the 13th, but I'm trailering and need to make a stop in Atascadero to see a customer, then spending the night in King City. My hotel reservation on the peninsula doesn't start until Friday night

We have 2 cars leaving Fresno/Clovis CA 7:30 am on Friday, Aug 14.
Anyone else want to caravan up with us? Destination is the Embassy Suites. Packing plenty of parts for the roadside DIY’ers (like us)

Historic Tickets
I have one extra set of tickets.
Friday, Sat, & Sun - Admission & Paddock How about "almost free" ... maybe find a hat, T shirt or something as thanks. Even a Cocktail or 2 would work. If you (and now you buddy) come to the TARPY'S Sat dinner that could be a good time to "pay up" I am leaving for laguna from the east Bay Friday AM

Four of us are caravanning down tonight, leaving San Mateo around 6:00 pm. Anybody interested in joining us? We plan to fuel up at the crystal springs Chevron around 6.

Wyvern:
Read your last post and you mention "Willy's" for Saturday night dinner. Has the dinner changed from Tarpy's? Inquiring minds want to know... Already checked in to my motel in Salinas.

Tarpy's
It's still Tarpy's.
Bryan See you guys there tomorrow. The two 930's on the left will be there... unless we cab it from Embassy Suites due to too much consumption...

Well after a long day thru LA and Santa Barbara traffic, at least 25 "thumbs up" by passing vehicles, I've now got the prettiest car in King City.
![]() Off to my hotel in Salinas in the morning to unload and then head over to the winery run.
