I didn't go this year either. I think Sturdy and I were the only BAPs who showed up last year.

This novice checked it out for the second time. Many great looking cars . I had an opportunity to speak with Chuck from elephant racing about refreshing my suspension.

I was there, the turnout was more than I expected. Sellers almost to the end of the block. I don't remember seeing that for a few years.

I thought it was decent. Quite a few 912s in attendance - more than in past years it seems. Fewer "R-Gruppe"-like cars, though.
In terms of parts, lots of "soft goods", i.e. literature, on the hardware side I guess you had to know exactly what you were looking for, nothing really jumped out as a "must-buy" (YMMV). What's up with the "race shops" selling Porsche promotional material, like 997 GT3RS brochures? I guess there is demand for these items, and maybe that's my personal pet peeve, because the few times I have been to a dealer (Stead and Livermore), they have basically laughed at me for asking for those brochures. I guess some of these shops get them (how?) in bulk (free?) and then try to pawn them off - lame IMHO, but like I said, a personal pet peeve. There was a very cool 914 with a 3.2 conversion parked at the end of Bernhardt - maybe a Pelican?
