Mine seems to get approval from both Porsche-philes and "civilians"

I posted a photo (post 179 )
and also listed wheel arch height ... I think I have a bit to much rake.
The fenders are steel widebody and although both at 24" through wheel center to lip ... still not sure if "right"

Could someone please measure rocker panel front and rocker panel rear so I could get a reference of rake ?
And a photo of your car or post #.

I measured the very bottom on the rocker at the leading edge of the door ... and the very rear lowest corner

I have 5" and 6 3/4 THANKS

You can't get reliable measurements from the bottom of the rocker. You need an inclinometer or angle finder on top of the rocker, and want about 1 degree of rake. If your fender lips are identical in height, your rear end is most likely too high. You want the rear fender lip to be about 1/4" to 1/2" lower than the front. Probably closer to 1/2", but that will probably be dependent on where your corner balance ends up at.

7 7/8ths to 9 7/8ths

The totally unofficial rule of thumb is 1% rake. If you use the rockers, that's about 7/8" higher in the rear.

You've got 2".

Once you get the ride height and rake correct, you are going to re-align and corner-weight the car, right?

Great info ...THANKS

Yes ... I will be aligning and balancing.

This has been part of a bigger prject where the PO had adjustable springplates indexed incorrectly.

Define 1% rake....the rule of thumb is 1 degree rake.
