TOO MUCH?!

I didn't feel mine had enough with 205/225 RE71R

Having 225/245 R888R feels amazing. I can't get it to lose traction. My favorite experience was chasing a 991 S on Mulholland and he not shaking me

No need to lower it any more.

Here's the formula for a perfect sports oriented 911 w/ a 3.2L or less engine & stockish transmission, w/ SC/Carrera flares, while avoiding specialty tires
Front: 8" ET25 to 30 w/ 225/50 x15 tires
Rear: 9.5" ET19 245/45 x15 tires
alternative for more sporting use
same wheels but 225/45 & 245/40 x15

w/ 3.4 or better
same wheels but in 17"
225/45 & 255/40 x17 tires

for those looking for the Fuchs look
8ET25-30 & 9 x17ET12-15 215 /45 & 225/45 or 225/4 & 245/40

You will need to adjust ride height and alignment to suit the tire and suspension package, these are 8 & 9.5 x17 225/45 & 255/40 x17, w/ 205/50 on 7ET23.3 Fuchs & 225/50 8ET10.6 Fuchs in 15 it looked the same but a tad lower

These wheels are generally not available in Fuchs or Fuchs look, fenders here are 24 5/8" & 23 7/8"

This is my setup with 16" x 7" & 8" Fuchs currently on 205 & 225 Hankooks. 63 cm from top of arch to floor: enough clearance for New England road hazards (of which there are many) and low enough for a confident planted look.

Did them myself using Duplicolor wheel paint and lots of patience. 25k miles and not a knick on them!

Do a search for Kinesis K18 in the For sale forum and my post with pics of the offset will be there. They were the same offset as Turbo wheels. Used the same spacers but had rolled both the lips.

The color is factory Slate Blue (schiefer blau metallic)

Gotti or Etoile? Didn't one have a reputation for cracking?

These ones are Etoile 16”.....which ones are known to crack? Would be good info to have. I’ve been considering replacing with new Fikse Fuchs. If Etoile are known to crack that may give me the excuse I need to make the switch.

Made some suspension improvements so I've been playing with the ride height. Running 225 & 235 tires on 15x7/8. There's a 7mm spacer in front and 15mm in rear. The first pic is about an inch below the typical 25.5/25 Euro spec, maybe a little bit more after it settled. Looks great but was too low for worry free driving on my roads, driveways, etc. Second pic shows it at 0.25" under Euro. Looks a lot higher than many of the cars in this thread, and the racecars I'm used to playing with; but I can bomb down rough canyon roads with no worries of bottoming out or rubbing tires on the fenders so I'm keeping it here for now.
