Sunroof headliner
I had the car painted. With the windows out, I decided to replace the headliner. The guy who painted the car left the sunroof and headliner panel out so I could complete the job. Since I didn't take it apart, it is a little difficult for me to make sure I am putting it back together correctly.
The sunroof is now in but I am not sure how to get the headliner panel in. I didn't want to bend it too much. Any suggestions on this? |

i had my sunroof panel out also. before i put the sunroof panel in, i unscrewed the sunroof track, and pulled it out a little wider, and slid the headliner piece in, and slid it back all the way, then installed the sunroof panel.

the liner goes in first, when you are installing the side tracks. slide it back in the hole and then insert the main panel, hook it up, move it forward with a two inch gap in front, slide the liner up and attach the front pop in clips. you can't do it with the roof assembled.

NUTS! Okay, the screws into the arched nuts that are in the rear 2/3rds of the sunroof are a been in the neck. If I put the headliner panel in before the sunroof, how do I access those screws/nuts? I am thinking the sunroof isn't disassembled all the way or correct. If anyone has pictures or a pretty detailed description, it would be a huge help.
Thanks! |

you will slide the sunroof headliner panel all the way back. this will give you access to all of the mounting hardware for the sunroof panel.
