Sounds like you've already been down this road before. This car will probably be "more than you bargained for" but buy it anyhow!

Can't wait to see how this turns out. If the current owner also owns Ferraris I'd suspect they are responsible enough to not have just let the car go completely to hell. If it's in Dallas our weather here is not too bad so that's a good thing....
Keep us posted.

Sorry to be a flake. I deleted post when I found out my barn find was for real and was in the negotiating process. I orginally thought the idea of a barn find was a joke and would show up to see a rust bucket t or abused 912 that someone mistaken for a gem.
I appreciate the help from a fellow pelican with good advice and explanations with my limited experince mostly coming from this board. We bought the car today and working out title in morning. Give me a few days and i will update the board and of course as advice of the general concesnus what to do next.... Thanks again all for pms and advice. don

I'm subscribing just to piss GarryR off.
![]() Seriously though I want to see what turns up, I missed it when it first came up. What's the story? Oh and not a barn find but I *almost* scored a nice SC with 7's and 8's for 410K Canadian this weekend, but I lost it because I took my time rather than getting out there straight away.

Jasper,
You might want to hit the [SHIFT] key before everybody thinks the prices for SCs have hit an all time high! (or the Canadian Dollar has hit an all time low.) ![]() Good luck with your find, Don! Les

Working with seller to make sure title correctly done before he gets end of money. Estate situation. Money negotiated. Contract done and sales reciept. We have spent all day again at dmv ect. and seller cooperating completely to assist. One of those situations where he has half the money and still the car so trying to get resolved asap and hopefully get car in our possesion today.
Everyone seems to be on the same page at trying to complete today or next day or two. I was wrong with orginal miles.... 4000 kms. 2500 miles. Many other mysterys on car to be resolved in coming weeks. Many with the forum is the fastest way.
