did you get the valve guides replaced?

Nice work. One day I will be doing the same Im sure on my 3.2.SmileWavy Relocating to Carolina in the near future...may need some advice.

Paul, Let's just say we "replaced" the guides. Can't go into details, but something really cool to look forward to.

We fired it and broke in the cams, then took it to town for some gas and she's ready to go.

Quick update...

Just did the 1000 mile valve adjust and head retorquing. Everything is looking good. A small amount of grey metallic on the drain plugs and nice looking oil. The valves all had loosened up .002-.003, but I was told some of that comes from setting them cold and then readjusting them warm. Now to turn the wick up on her and see what she has. :)
