Cabriolet Help

I have a 87 911 and I need the PDF version of the Cabriolet system.

My top stopped working and I am trying to repair it. the Bentley Service manual that I have does not go into depth on Cabriolet top repairs in terms of trouble shooting and electrical reparir, etc. It is my understanding that there is a PDF repair manual of the Cabriolet system. Does anyone have it.

Kuel,
Where can I get this video? My top works but will not latch using the motors. It will unlatch and go down but not latch when closing. I just had a new top installed and that is when i sterted having this problem. I am sure it is just an adjustment.
Please send me the link.
Thanks,
Jeff

It could be an adjustment problem. There is also a relay under the passenger side floor and microswitches which are easy to adjust under the panels on each side in the back seat where the top transmission mechanisum is located. An easy fix would be replacing the microswitches. If the top needs adjusting be careful. My left side top bow broke, punturing the top. Theres also issues with the motors which was part of my problem. An old and tired motor was drawing too much power, which caused the relay to fail.

When I picked up my 87 cab my back 'bow' aluminum horizontal support was broken. Took off the top, removed the bow and TIG welded it.
The cause for the break was because the LH and RH side actuators were out of sync.
The out of sync was because one of the actuator boxes was loose (loose bolts).
After putting a new top on myself (oiy, oy, ug), I spent weeks learning how it all works; imagine an orchestra or clock movement. That's when I came across
Peter Sandholdt. I think Pete is here on Pelican so you can look up a thread and contact him directly with regarding to the mystical cab tops and information on 'how to'.

Srwilliams - did you ever get this resolved? I ask because I just joined the membership of tops that like to go down, but not so keen on coming back up again.

In particular, my lid came all the way up but would not latch. And once in the up position, possibly because the micro-switches were not making contact with the window frame, the roof would not go down again either.

Sigh.
