2.7 Fuel Pump to 3.0 Fuel Pump

I have a 911s 2.7. I swapped for a 3.0 engine. I purchased a 3.0 fuel pump and went to install... the fuel line fitting coming out of the fuel pump is a different size and the wiring is a different size. Does this swap typically require different terminals and fuel line fitting?

OK

Bit late now, but probably not necessary; the 2.7 fuel pump on my '77 supported a 3.3 RoW 930 motor just fine (in spec for flow and pressure, good AFR's at WOT, power right on the money). Bosch have margins in their specs, like Sachs and Porsche do.

Higher-rated fuel pumps draw more current and require bigger terminals and fuses. They often have larger hose fittings as well.

If it is not needed, I would gladly return it and put the 2.7 back in. Much easier!!
