930 CIS Removal
How difficult is it to remove the CIS setup on a 930? Is it just a matter of disconnecting the fuel lines and then unbolting the unit? Any precautions that should be taken when removing and replacing?
I just need to remove the oil breather cover due to a leaky gasket and it appears impossible to get at without removing the CIS setup.

the leak may well be the hose, not the gasket. that short section of hose on 930s gets rock hard. remove the metal breather tube and replace the hose and collar with a short section of hose and two clamps.

Thanks John! Looking around the gasket area I don't see any oil so I think you might be right... I'll give your suggestion a try.

That is what happened to mine. That little section of hose made quite a mess.

How hard is it to get the sleeve off? Any tips for removal?
My hose looks a lot worse.

the sleeve usually slips right off without much effort.
