Question 3.0 ignition timing

I'm running Webers on my 3.0 and was wondering where I should be setting my full advance timing.? Right now I'm playin it safe at 25BTC. It's a stock engine except for the Webers, headers and MSD ignition.
Thanks
chas

Chas,

One needs a LOT more information to offer anything constructive.

Total timing is factored by considering compression ratio, local octanes, local climate, camshaft profile, and fuel mixture.

I totally agree with that advice, however the person who does this will need the very same info,....

Barry Hershon in Detroit is the man to do this and yes, it makes a big difference.

Is it an early or late SC distributor?

If it is an early SC distributor is a recurve going to make a difference?

What kind of difference is a big difference? How does it react differently?

My motor is an euro 3.0 80 model

When I put mine on, I timed the motor as usual and it runs great now!
