VDO Tach fitment

Anybody know if this tach will work in an '82 930? Its from a 1989 Carrera.

I know the connections are different from a 82 911 to the 89 911. I'm guessing the 82 930 would be the same as the 82 911 and it would not work.

My EE is pretty rusty, but I'll take that as a "yes". Just bought the tach.

I don't know. But the seller had it in an '89. it has a much more readable scale and now I can get rid of my dead boost gauge. I have a 935 boost gauge that is going in the clock hole. This tach has turn signal indicators and high beam light, so I doubt its a 935 tach.
