Great photos of a great looking car!

Amazing how these cars throw off light so distinctively without a lot photoshop processing - compared to the newer blob of jello Porsches.

Yes, the sculpted nature of the wide body is captivating. I can admire the taut musculature of the design for hours.

It's been quiet on this thread, so...

Fresh off of a 3.4 build, transmission refresh + Guard LSD and suspension work (KW V3, Eibach antiroll kit, ERP, Elephant bushings). Less than 250 miles of break-in / shakedown so far. Driving great and looking goooood...

I got lucky (after searching daily for four years, many disappointments, numerous flights, PPIs, etc.) and found mine in Newport Beach, about an hour from my home. PTS Gemini Blue and M470. I don't know who ordered it that way in '87, but I'd like to buy him a case of beer.

It's got uprated power and suspension and I'm shooting for 2,850 pounds. So an M491 "Club Sport" of sorts.

3.2 —> 3.4

What changes were involved in going from 3.2 to 3.4 L?

Bob, replacing the stock 95mm pistons & cylinders with 98mm units increases the displacement from 3164 cc to 3,367 cc. We did a lot more for this build, but that accounts for the displacement increase.

Pics from this morning's 200 mile drive...

Beautiful cars! Blues look so good on a 911.

But I'm partial to black
