Narrow Body Slant Nose
Does anybody know who produced the narrow body fenders for the car on the right?

Sure they did, from the Special Wishes Dept.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/371107-non-widebody-slantnose.html I know production numbers were discussed here but I can't find the thread. The one in the OP's pic looks familiar, though. A new guy had his for sale recently. I think he was from New York or on the East coast anyway.

The listing is gone but I'll take your word for it. I stand corrected.
to answer your question on the other thread... I saw a narrow slant in Ocean City MD in the 80's. |

Found it! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/569218-slant-nose-sale.html
The OP might contact this fella to get some info on the flares.

How about that. I wonder how many were built? I wonder if $23,000.00 was the cost of the "up grade"?

Golden Coachworks also made the steel narrow slant fenders. They were listed in his catalog in the 80's and early 90's.

That car was listed on ebay a couple of years ago by a dealer here in Fla. for more than 8 months with no luck for about $18K. Then, within the year, this same exact car was re-listed on ebay for sale out of Missouri/Minnesota for about $27K, and again, had it listed for 6 months +... I'd be surprised if that car has been driven more than 3K miles in the last 3 years.

Otto,
You’re close but not exactly right. That car was listed by a dealer down in Florida who started it up in the 30’s and finally down to about 20k where it sat. he had it listed for nearly 18 months. When he gave up and sent it to auction it was bought by Schmitt in St Louis who marketed it for about 27k for a heck of a long time too. Its not a factory slant, it’s a car that just seems to never be able to sell. I don’t recall if that motor swap was recent or not I just know its been to dealer after dealer and no retail buyers ever go for it.
