Will this sheet metal fit my car?

I have a 77 with some rot in the sill/door lock post area. I was offered a piece from a 67. Will that fit? What is a fair price for something like that?

Thanks, Mike

get a piece of 20 gage sheet metal and make your own. a cardboard template, some snips, pliers and a hammer to shape and form. that's likely the tip of the iceberg though.

Thanks John, It looks worse than what it is. The whole car is stripped to bare metal and this area on both sides is surprisingly the only 2 spots. The inner rockers are in good shape with no rust on it.
Any body guys have any thoughts?

like John said, and use satin coat galvanised steel. if you are using a patch from another car try and get one from your year or newer, IIRC yours was the first year of full galvanising, or maybe it was just the lowers. SWB cars started rusting with a vengeance the day they rolled off then assembly line. and get a piece bigger than you think you'll need. price? whatever it's worth to you to not have to fab one. I'm a bodyman but a pretty lazy one, I wouldn't hesitate to pay $100 for a galvanised piece.
lastly, automotive epoxy primer is your friend for any patch areas, use a brush to mash it in everywhere you can get to. and after final paint, wax-oil the living cr*p out of everything.

Tip of the iceberg like John said... You'll need to buy an aftermarket replacement out rocker at the very least. You may be able to use a donor door striker plate but you won't be able to separate all the parts individually without damaging something else beyond use. The outer rockers aren't too expensive...
