Show me your Carrera 3.0!

Have seen similar threads for other models, lets see all the C3s now!

I'll start with mine...

I REALLY like the Carrera 3.0, especially without the foglights - it's a very clean look. How rare/expensive are they, generally? I know that they command a premium over SCs, but I never seem to see them on the market.

CJ, I can't really comment on what the prices are in the States, but here in Australia a good Carrera 3.0 is worth about 25-50% ($50k-$60) more than the equivalent SC, but I have seen concours cars asking up to around 100% or $80K. I think this roughly translates in the UK as well.

Because Carrera 3.0s weren't ever (officially) imported into North America, they are a bit rare, here.

I am a sucker for a 3.0. I happen to think they are just great cars.

They are everything that you want your SC to be.

I like the 3.0s also and it may the the only 911 i would give my 930 up for as they were never FS in the US.

What is the diffence in the 3.0s vs the SC's?

Here's mine. There is no car, just the most important part of the Carrera 3.0

and shortly it will sit mid-engine as soon as it mates with its new host.

I'm looking for a '77 carrera 3.0 engine, I have been restoring the chasis for the last 3 years and need an engine if any one has one. I have a '76 930/02 but would like to find a '77.
Thanks, Jack.

Yes Bjorn, I need a daily driver 911 and using the Orange for that would ruin it. Time for a new driver to take it to the next level!
