Well, Phoenix...like any other lender would ask...how much, and what kind of interest are you willing to pay? And most importantly....how can you make me sure there will be a payback? Believe me, the GT2 will be bought by people who don't have to ask how much....It's a status thing, like having the proper suit tailored, like wearing the latest "in" wristwatch, etc. Are you SURE you want to pay the price to enter that world? I'd suggest thinking it over before you answer......

I'm completly broke,
and I'm gonna bid on it just to say I did !! We're sorry... You have been outbid by another bidder! Current bid price: $138,200.00 Your maximum bid: $138,100.00 Damn I thought that might happen- oh well I tried, I think Highline brokers owes me at least $50.00 bucks for that stunt.!

pwd72s: a "loan" - who said anything about getting paid back? I just want it.
The only loan for that kind of money that I could ever rationalize would be for a home. Also, I believe a true Porschephile, with the cash, doesn't need to enter into any "world" except his own as he's pushing "his" limits on the track with a GT2 (99% of the people out there will never reach the GT2s limits). wacky73t: sorry to hear you lost you bid. better luck next time

I suspect you'll need alot more than $140K to meet reserve on that one! -- Curt

There's a way to show that you're not part of the snob & status club. Drive the car, have dead bugs all over the front of it, take it to the track and most important don't get a personalised license plate that reads: LOADED or 2RICH I might not be a 996 fanatic, but this one is pretty nice

Excellent car!
One small point, the picture of the showroom on Ebay looks a lot like Auto-Salon-Singen AG in Germany?

"All the allocations for the GT2 coming to the US have been spoken for! We at Highline have beaten the system."
Wonder what they mean by that? Tom |

Think of it this way. In 30 years when the car becomes a "Classic" we will all be able to afford one
