Brake light on after one reset on MC

Recently had Eric Shea at PMB (Great job BTW) restore the brakes on my 75 Carrera. Went for the first drive to bed in the pads and blinking brake light.

No biggie got back and reset the MC by pressing the button.

Went out again to give the pads another heat cycle and the blinking is back after a few stops.

The rear parking brake is grabbing real close to the floor now with the new rotors, I didn't adjust it, and car rolls freely when it's off. I messed with the adjustment at the parking brake handle as well with no results. Do I need to pull the wheels off and adjust the shoes? Can it trigger the light even if it's not on the first "Click"?

Other than reset the MC again and hope it stays off this time am I forgetting to check something?

TIA

Ferg

Reset MC again last night, but only had a chance to drive it around the block, so far no blinking, but last time it didn't come on till after a hard brake, so I"m not holding my breath.

On the 75, isn't the brake light and the e-brake light the same light? If so, maybe the solenoid on the e-brake is being contacted and hence yer issue.

You said the e-brake is tight or low to the floor?

Low to the floor yes, but currently working correctly, light coming on and turning off as the parking brake is pulled/put down.

After the last reset, light didn't come back on till after a few hard stops driving and the button on the MC needing to be pushed again.

Holds brake pressure just fine, but maybe I've got a failing MC, or air? Pedal is not great, but wanted to drive it and let new seals work in ect before rebleeding.

Replacing calipers usually requires more than a few bleeds. I've found waiting a few days helps....fizzy fluid takes a while to knock out bubbles. Changing fluid color helps to tell that you've got the whole line purged.
