Early 911 green face guages - Bezel paint
Have some early green face 911 gauges that I am restoring for my Ghia. Want to re-paint the inner bezels. Is the colour just plain old satin black???
Thanks for any help. ![]()

I am of no help to your question, other than to say those gauges are awesome. Is anybody making those aftermarket?

you're restoring those yourself?
either you've got crazy good skills, or you're very brave.

Thanks for the compliments on these guages. I am really pleased with how they are coming up.
Restoring them is probably overstating what I am doing to them really. They were all in working condition to start with. They were just very dirty inside and the glass was cloudy. I carefully prized off the bezels pulled out the main assemblies. Then cleaned the faces, inner body and glass with window wipes and a lint free rag. Amazing how much brighter they look now.
