Quicktifier

Has anyone seen, heard of, or used a Quicktifier (Quicktifier Remote Rectifier makes your Alternator Tougher)?
I would think this could be a helpful addition to the heat saturated rectifier array found in our 911's.
Or, maybe I just have a biased opinion since I just had a rectifier meltdown in less than 30k miles.

Be advised..if your rectifiers inside the alternator are bad (shorted) this product will NOT fix it!!
All this thing will do is take some of the load from the internal diodes (providing the resistances are equal or less).
When diodes are set in a parallel configuration, all sorts of problems crop up....and you end up with an unstable bridge sort of setup.
Best to replace the internals with new ones...and possibly get higher rated ones at the same time.
