Help. No Passenger Side Running lights or brake light plus strange e-brake issue

Any advice is appreciated.

Just finishing a 2 year restoration and now the passenger side running lights and brake lights won't work. (Drivers side works perfect as do Reverse, Headlights (Hi/Low) license plate and all interior lights).

I have verified that all housings and bulbs work as they should. I have cleaned all grounds at least 2 times each. Cleaned the turn signal switch. Replaced all relays.

Another oddity is that when the emergency brake is up and I turn the key my Hazards come on. And in order for me to get them off I need to turn the key off and drop the e-brake.

Could this be a sign of a bad ignition switch?

I tested a new ignition that I had and everything functioned as before. I'm thinking it's the turn signal switch. Any input from the wiring gooroos?

Do you get power on both sides of fuse 6 to ground on fuse block 2?
It is strange that the right brake light does not work, but the left side does. They are a common feed. Possible bad pin in connector? Try unplugging the connector and checking with a meter on the pin.
I have uploaded a diagram of the brake light switch and how it connects to the emergency flasher.

You said the running lights don't work, but you don't mention the turn signals, do they work?

Yes I checked the plug and there is no power.

Yes the turn signals work. Only the right side front and back running lights don't work along with the rear right brake light.

The replacement relay I used is the cheap generic version. I'm picking up a new Bosch relay tomorrow and a new signal light switch. I'll test the relay 1st.

I remember that diagram.

There may be some association between your problems.

Great link thank you. Okay I checked the master cylinder and only 1 wire is plugged in. I don't see where the other wire should plug in. Is my switch broken?

I just checked again and the switch isn't broken and has only one connector. The switch looks 'relatively' new and must be wrong. I pulled the only connected wire and I still have the same problem with emergency brake and both flashers.

I'll add master cylinder switch to the shopping list tomorrow.

Well everything is fixed excluding the emergency brake but I'm hopeful when the master cylinder switch comes in on Tuesday that will fix it. I installed a new wiper switch as I thought that 'could' be the source of some of my problems but I don't think it was. Looks like I have a spare signal switch now.

Thanks for the tips above they were very helpful.

Final update. The incorrect master cylinder seson and bad brand new Chinese relay were the last of the problems. Thanks for the help.
