Original Paint color photo thread

Let's see if we can create a useful thread that shows what specific Porsche paint colors look like. This can be a useful resource for those of us researching different period correct Porsche colors.

The rules:
1) Post 1-4 photos of your original color car in varied light or different angles (all in the same post please).
2) Indicate what year the car is.
3) Indicate what the paint code and color name is.
4) Please do not post "what color is this car" photos or "I think this is...". Please be certain or do not post.

This is open to all Porsche's from the earliest to latest, not just 911's. Thanks!

Without color corrected photos and display settings, you won't get an accurate representation of colors.

There is no such thing as color corrected photos/display settings. You have to paint actual material on panels and then compare in actual light (day, dusk etc) to fully understand the color and how it compares to an original color.

I think this would be a great reference to the average Porsche enthusiast curious about the range of colors by year.

That being said, someone please post some 'pastel blue' images from 1969 =)

OK, I'll give it a go - any excuse and all that...

Mine is a 1987 Marine Blue Metallic which is the original colour. Unfortunately, and at somewhat of a surprise to me, I don't have all that many shots of my own car.
