Brown headliner availability?

Every where I look I see black and ivory headliners for sale.

My car came stock with a dark brown headliner, and I would prefer to keep it that way. Any ideas where to get one?

Also, the PO gave me a new in-box black headliner he purchased from tweeks (yeah, I know). is it domestic or german material, and what is the difference besides price? Thanks.

Hi Gerald, they *should* be available, the previous owner put a new brown one in my 80SC. Have you tried Auto's Intl, World Upholstry, Original Fit, etc?

Found this, they say colors available

Coupe headliners are made from white or black perforated vinyl, windows must be removed for installation. Colors are available
HEADLINER: Coupe #911 1850....$105.00
HEADLINER: Car with sunroof #911 3350 $105.00

cheers

Did a google search today for a Brown coupe headliner and found this thread with a Pelican looking for one.
I also found a source for Brown as well as other color headliners! Don't know why, but everywhere else only white or black are offered.

1966-73 PORSCHE 911, 912 COUPE HEADLINER, Auto replacement tops, Vinyl soft tops, Mercedes SL seat covers, Mercedes interiors, Auto headliners, Alfa Romeo convertible tops

"What a wanker" "Ya weenie". HUH! Have no idea what that nonsense post has to do with my response to this thread from way back in 2002! Only posted the info in case someone did a search on the forum for a Brown headliner, which seems to be difficult to find and I could point them to a source.
By the way, I live in Georgia! Nowhere near any Santa Clara.

Blow me....I know Sammy personally. Get a life, sleep with yer 1st cousin.

The name of the supplier will come to me at 3am when I usually wake up from bad dreams, I've forgotten more 914 stuff than you have teeth.

As to my response to you in 2002? Who the hell cares, it was likely a joke....take it in your shorts....wanker..

Ohhh yeah, ask Sammy what his response was on the old list serve was to ""912"........

You do realize you replied to an 8 year-old thread with inflammatory language and then directed your comments at the wrong person, right? Calling people names won't help that fact...

Thanks for posting updated info. I, too, have a brown headliner that will someday need replacing.

Long live the Brown Interior!

It's MR. azzhole....and yes, I know it was an 8 year old thread I was responding to.

Gotta love it when people dig up dead turds and respond to them. Best part is when they get pissy when there is no response to a for sale ad.
