Place the doors on a naked car...

Hi from Norway! I'm going to fit the doors on my 1976 911 after a total strip-down.
The front and rear fenders are off. The door-sill too. the rear fenders are taken off inn the spotwelds so i have none checkpoints here either. The car is going to be a 993 bastard. My biggest issue is the height of the door. Someone who have some measurement on this?

Usually, you should trial fit the door with rocker and quarter in place (before and during any welding of those adjacent panels.
For an approximate measurement, you can check your door hight by aligning the door window surround frame with the roof-line about 4mm down and about 5mm back to the windshied posts. Keep the gap about 10mm in-wards of the roof & pillar edge.
Enjoy the journey, -Tom
