new set of gauges to my 76 3.2L - will it fit? + fraud alert!

hi, after posted here WTB post i got an offer from someone in the UK of 1000 usd+200 usd shipping to israel for a set of gauges

attached the pic he sent me:


i dont know if this set will be ok for my car and if at all i will ever recieve it!

after i transfered 1200 usd by western union - he asked 450 usd more for taxes so i will not have to pay taxes in my country! i asked my money back , but he refused saying he had to buy some other parts from australia. after asking from him more info about himself he said he cant give me nothing and i thing he will not send me my money back

anyway still dont want to write his name here but i found out he is not a pelicanparts member ...

i dont want to transfer another 450 usd now and worry about the 1200 usd allready payed!

can i do anything?

how did he find my add if he is not a member?

The big clue..Western Union. With the WU transfer number, they can collect the money anywhere in the world..probably in Nigeria

Chances are the name and address are bogus too.

Beating, horse, dead, etc, but it looks like the address is either a bus stop or a cemetery, cant pin the address on an actual residence using google street view....

unfortunly its a real post!

i wanted this gauges and a guy from the UK that contact me from pelican forum sounded me realistic!

only after he asked for more money to send the shipment tax free - i have started to notice that something is wrong! i found out that he is not a pelican member at all and only after u guys answered here to my post that this gauges are 997 n will not work in my car - i put the words "911 gauges" in google and that was the first photo there!!! f**k!

never used western union and will never use it again...
hope all of us leared something here - and yes i am stupid and with 1200 usd less in my pocket !

if u guys have an extra set of gauges for 964 that will fit my 1976 3.2L 1989 engine - im open to recieve offers , payment this time only thry paypal or creditcard (if its a shop)
