Fender bolt finish?
Does anyone know what the correct finish is on the fender bolts. I mean are the fender bolts supposed to be painted the car color, black, zinc plated gold, or zinc plated silver? I have heard that they are supposed to be zinc plated gold with a red fiber washer... Any help would be great!

Thanks dr. That's what I needed. Are most the bolts on this car going to be cad plated?

Some of the bolts are painted, some are not.
Specifically the bolts holding on the fuse panel and the tabs with snaps for the carpet are not painted. Should also have a flat washer, then the fiber washer to the tub. Gold cad. is typical of most fasteners. Cooper Last edited by Cooper911SC; 05-28-2012 at 08:24 AM.. |
