How's the quality of the paint and clearcoat, fit & finish?

As per previous comments, it has ridge as opposed to smooth polished. The paint/coating look fine. The photo was taken with an iPhone 4 at less than 2 feet.

It's all about expectation, my set was $723 so it can not be compare to 2K+ sets.

They look very good.

That's actually not too bad for a cast 17" wheel.

The wheels are very well designed, but fit and finish is not amazing. The 9s are not bad in spite of some minor imperfections in the paint around the hub, but both the 7s had defects in the finish of the valve stem hole, one of which is particularly sloppy and will need to be replaced. Overall, a good value, but quality control could be a lot better.

Any markings on the rim to show where it was made?

Did you check runout on the wheels? I had the Rota Fox and man the runout was crap.

My comments from the other Eurmeister thread:

That said, either should be OK for normal street (or even mild track) use. The runout issues reported by Rota buyers is a larger issue in my mind. I'll be curious to hear the the runout specs on the Euromeisters once the first buyers start having tires mounted. But I really don't expect to hear many problems on that. The reality is that many of the Chinese wheel manufacturers do a very good job on that score.

Finish Product...

Amazing what a $9 spray paint can will do. The center and lug nut were black

Front 7x17 Et 23 (16.5 Lb), 80mm spacer/adapter combo with 205/50 R17

Rear 9x17 Et 15 (18 Lb), 70mm spacer/adpter combo with 255/40 R17

The tire were the same on my Cup wheel so no change size wise

Yeah, too many. In the 240Z forum I still admin/moderate I would have merged them all into one.
