Can't find my antenna cable
I have a built in antenna in my windshield. I can't find where the antenna connector is to connect the radio. Any thoughts???

On my 88, there is an in line amp. It's under the bonnet, and below and behind the right side bonnet hinge and shock. I'd start there if you see nothing under the dash.

Dig around in the trunk behind the fresh air ducts on the passenger side.
You will probably have to pull off the cardboard cover.

I've been watching a lot of "Holmes On Homes" lately, so I feel as though I can speak fluent Canadian, eh. Thus I am able to shed some light upon your issue. In the photo below, which was taken with the carpeting pulled back from the passenger side, and my camera jammed in between the hinge and the ventilation stuff cover, you'll see two black plastic boxes. The antenna amp is the small one toward the back, eh. It's got a small black wire coming ooout the top of it, eh, and it's got a connector on the end that attaches to the windshield antenna through a small hole in the cowl, eh. The harness wiring ultimately goes to the radio so it can power the amp when the radio's switched on. Withoooout it, you get loousy reception, eh. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the pic! I am going to go look pretty quick to see if I can track those boxes down on my car!
And you do speak perfect Canadian eh. Speaking of Mike Holmes...I have met him twice .. he is a very interesting fellow. A friend of mine's daughter also had her house qualify for one of his Holmes Inspections...got the whole basement, main level, and some of her upstairs all redone...the show does the labour for free and the home owner is responsible for 10% (I think it was) of the materials cost.

Yeah, Holmes seems like he's got people's best interests in mind. Oout of curiosity, just how big is the dude? Sometimes he looks monster pro-wrestler big, and other times it all looks like camera angle. Just wondering if any of the contractors he's ticked off would think twice about having a run-in with him.

Well he's a good bit taller than I... I would say he's 6' ... maybe a tad more?
