Squeaking like a cheap motel bed! Front sway bar suggestions

My car came with Weltmeister sway bars front and rear. While I have no complaints about the rear, the front squeaks like a cheap motel bed being vigorously used...

Anyway, I'm pretty tired of the noise, and was looking to get some recommendations to replace it...it is a through the body bar. As always, thanks in advance.

Any other suggestions? What is the difference between Tarett's front swaybar and Elephant Racing's? The photos on the respective websites are exactly the same. Does ER make the sways for Tarett?

you sure it's your sway bar that's causing the squeaking? My squeak issue stemmed from my right front torsen bar rubbing against the inside of its tube.

Couldn't you just replace the bushings with something less aggressive? I know some of the firmer ones will squeak like you describe.

Sounds sort of drastic to replace the sway bar with another. The bar itself has no moving parts.

It's probably the bar-to-body urethane bushings that are making noise, but to help isolate and pinpoint the source, disconnect both drop links, inspect the friction joints of each drop link (rubber bushings, rod ends, etc.), then test drive. If the noise persists, it's not the sway bar (maybe a suspension bushing).

Lubing the SB bushings usually helps. WM supplies a heavy lube for this purpose.

The only bushings mine uses are thin plastic sleeves that I spray a little WD40 into during season and replace every couple years (on a race car). I assume you tried lubing them with no results? Could well be the TB bushings if thats the case. Easy way to be sure is simply disconnect the sway bar and try it...

I just spoke to a Pelican rep; he suggested taking a hacksaw blade and cuting a few very shallow grooves (a couple of strokes each) on the inside of the bushing and adding graphite or grease inside those so it's sort of self-lubricating. I'll try that when I return from NJ. If that doesnt work, I'll try disconnect the bars and see if the TBs are the culprits. I know that Wletmeister has a history of squeaking almost as much as Mickey Moue.

my sway bars have helm joints that squeak as described, need to find a heavy lube for them....I can duplicate the noise in my garage, disconnect the sway bar links and the noise goes away, remove the helm joint and duplicate the noise off the car....

I do not know if the Elephant Racing anti-sway bars are a knock-off of the Tarett or if Tarett sells them to Elephant Racing which then rebrands them. But either way Tarett is the source.

Taretts use a bushing like the Rebel Racing bushings which is a dry lubricant polymer so changing the bar in this case will entail changing the bushings and should eliminate the squeaking while also being a really nice anti-sway bar.
