Would rather have a drivable one from RCR and spend the leftover money to track it.

"wooden slot car track faithful to the iconic Le Mans raceway"
Since when is LeMans an oval with an S turn in the back?

interesting , but useless to race on
crack the back of your head on the 917 upper body while trying to reach cars that left the track on the inside still, its pretty

I always wondered what those things cost ever since I've seen an ad in a magazine. Cost more than I thought!

Drunk on gin, maybe $1,500? And that would be dear.

And it looks like it has a cut off broomstick/Swiffer mopper handle to prop up the open cowling, just like on a real Porsche!
Yeah, like you'd b1tch and moan if that thing was plugged in in your lobby.

I was all set to hit "buy" till I saw that the rims were aluminum. If they're gonna cut corners right out in plain sight, what other shoddy workmanship is hidden in that piece of crap. No. Thank. You!, Mr. Schlemmer.
