Over the past few weeks:
- Replaced front rubber smile
- Valve adjustment
- New spark plugs, leads, rotor, and dist cap
- New 'S' line
- Fuel, air, and oil filter
- New fan/alternator belt
- Fresh Brad Penn oil
- Drilled out old locking lug nuts, and 20 all-new lug nuts installed and torqued

All first time for me. Most amazingly - she started right up once fuel filter filled up.

Flojo, you are going to town on that SC! A lot of work bringing it up in condition. How long have you owned it?

Changed the transmission fluid, out with the Swepco in with Kendall. I think my nasal passages are still in recovery. WD40'd the clutch linkage and since I was going to be on my back anyway, cleaned about 10 of the 30 years of leaks and grime off the underside of engine - that is going to take a while. Topped off the afternoon with an oil change and enjoyable test drive. Tomorrow my back will be envious of those with a lift

Mounted the new LED strip as a 3rd brake light today. Used 3M tape to stick it to a thin sheet metal bracket I built that slips between the seal and the glass. Simple, clean and unobtrusive. I like this much better than the big light housing I had.

Total cost - less than $8.

That's a great idea.

That 3rd brake light is something you could sell as a kit easily.

yesterday and recently:
- bought Kendall all syn. Super Three Star 75W-90 trans. oil - what a process to get this, not installed yet
- changed engine oil to 15-40 Delo LE - Walmart 2.5 gallon jug
- adjusted valves and reused the gaskets and nuts for the 3rd or more times
- redesigned the cigarette lighter electrical connection and installed my version of the Dr. Bulczynski insert to change from Euro. to US cigarette lighter ID.

Add some weight...

Change the aluminium closed lug nut to open galvanised steel one which need to be match painted.

This add 2.8 oz per wheel (5.9 oz vice 3.1 oz) thus 11.2 oz total which would translate to a lost of .007 hp

Before someone ask, the thread engagement is 16.5mm on a 14mm stud (1.19 ratio), on submarine First Level systems we require a 1.5 ratio so I'm not worry . While its hard to see, there is ~3 thread exposed which 2 of them are hidden by the recess grove.

Installed PMB restored calipers that cost more than my first car.
Inflation sucks.

Didn't fit at all. Aftermarket from host. Bores rather offset. Tweeking didn't help. Back in the box. Too bad :-(
