I upgraded my wheels from 6 & 7 to 7 & 8 Fuchs. Targa looks a little more aggressive and they fill the wheels wells better.

Those look great. Good upgrade.

Wrapped up a multi-week (and multi-dollar) A/C restoration and upgrade. While my '72 911T started life as a factory A/C car, almost everything was replaced with upgraded parts.

Results were very good, I'm quite pleased...

A more purposeful stance to it! I did the same to the SC Coupe and it looks like it's been lowered or more squat. I like it.

Parked mine next to this rally icon and it got a lot less attention than it normally does. Strange that.

I replaced the temperamental starter on my 79' SC with a High Torque starter from our host. What a bear! That top barrel not is a PITA to reach! I couldn't even see it without the help of a mirror. She fires right up now with authority! I also installed my MOMO Indy with an eccentric hub so it improves the view of the gauges. Successful weekend of wrenching all around!

Glad that adapter worked out!

How about "What has your 911 done for YOU today"

When life gives you a swift kick in the nuts, not much else puts a smile on your face like a great drive with a wonderful woman in an incredible 911 that you built piece by piece.

Rebuilt my calipers and replaced the pads. I also ordered a Viair tire inflator from 4wheelonline because my HF one has seen better days.

Changed the driver's side hood strut last night. Pelican and its hemostat trick turned what could have been an hour of cursing into a 5 minute job. So that felt good.

Replaced the in-tank fuel inlet screen on my '76.
PITA job, mainly because you must start with an empty tank.
FWIW, when the indicator needle is half way between 1/4 tank and the 'reserve' warning light - there is still 5.5 gallons in the tank.
PITA, also that I had to make my own 22 mm allen wrench.
(I later saw one on Amazon for around $10.00 + S+H. A couple of reference threads here said they were not available - but they are.)
Now I sleep at night knowing that 45 years of accumulated crap (20 years of that span sitting in a garage) is no longer in the inlet stream.

The old screen looked perfectly clean. Just discolored.

Mine looked pretty much just like it, but once it's out, you're not going to put it back in....whether it's clean(ish) or dirty....

Absolutely correct - that was not my problem, the car is still stumbling on the open road
...on to the new fuel pump to see if that cures it.
