Wayne's 959 is back on the road!

After almost three years up on jack stands in my garage, it's back on the road! I have 96+ photos of the stuff that I did to it to get it back on the road, coming in a new thread. It still has a few bugs and kinks to work out, but it's good to be finally exercising it again!

959 is gorgeous - but I am blinded by everything surrounding it.

Sweet!! You must be psyched! At first glance I thought that pole was directly in front of the garage door, but it was an illusion. You should put a hinge on it about half way up, so you can swing it outta the way when you need...

I love this picture because it's real. I like the garages with shiny floors too but this one is real. It's used for real garage stuff and has some dusty cars(a cool thing in my book) with cars thsat could be drivin right out the door today. And some racecars thsat seemingly could be turned on to impress the guys at will! A little smoke in the garage, yeah because a car was running in it. And a little oil on the floor, just wipe it up when your done. A mans garage.

Aw man that's not fair. Roar's fitty nine was a wreck (literally).

Congrats on getting it back on its feet again. I know that feeling well. My '87 was st(r)anded from 2009 to 2012. Feels good to be able to move it around, eh?

Nice Fatburger sign............ You snag that from a local store when Kanye shut it down, like the one in our town (never went there, never planned to, ain't gonna miss it one bit)?

Just what I was thinking, that book would be a huge seller wouldn't it

Seriously though as I thought about this, maybe Wayne should write a different kind of book exploring the technical advances pioneered on this model, from the working man's point of view under the car. That might be one that I might add to my christmas list.

He might even be able to pre-sell it to gauge interest...

What would it take to get petrolicious to do a video of you and the car? I would weep with joy. It's always been my favorite car. Congrats on getting it back on the road.
