Agree with Scott, I have a 24' V-nose Thule all aluminum and it's quite full. Only time I would go smaller is with one of those tiny Trailex enclosed that I only had an SUV to pull with and I needed to park/hide it in my garage. Fits the car and a set of tires, that's it!

So I sold it and built a bigger trailer. Spec'd a Vintage that has a 20' box plus a 3' v-nose so the total floor length inside is 23' (overall length with tonge of 28'). Can fit the 911 (or SpecMiata) plus 4 wheeler and a small 125cc dirt bike in there. However (and there's always a caveat isn't there?) by the time I load up the trailer I'm close to 7000 lbs (dual 5200lb axles) and now the GMC Yukon Denali with the big 415hp 6.2L engine struggles to pull it. On a recent trip to MidOhio pulling a SpecMiata for a friend I got 8 mpg going out, and 5.9 mpg into a head wind coming back. No possible way a 1/2 tone truck or a Tahoe or Suburban will pull it without spending all the time shifting between 3rd and 4th gear. Need a Duramax turbodiesel but no way I can afford that. So remember that a bigger trailer needs a bigger tow vehicle.
