Wheel Stands (pic's)

I just wanted to share some pic's of some wheel stands that I have been working on the past few weekends. I just painted them. I thought these wheel stands would assist me
on some of those long dreary winter days.

They look nice. I guess it is a good theft deterrent.

Did you make the stands?

wheel stands

This is the first time I've seen these! Do you use these for storage or for engine maintenance? I would think that regular jack stands on the chassis directly would allow for more options if working on the car as you can't do any suspension work with these.

Just Wondering.

I think the front wheel offsets are a little off and maybe the rear fenders need to be rolled a little,
just my opinion

I like those, if it were me I'd add another inch or so in the fore/aft direction, could also drill for casters - but very nice job I've thought of this but no equipment to build like these.

For stationary work on vehicle, nice. Great project.

For greater versatility, suggest adding HD wheels to:
1. allow the suspension to settle w/o binding (to align, set ride height, adj. sway bars, etc.)
2. allow moving the vehicle
