Amongst other things I found someone's original birth certificate and about $6 in loose change with hardly any quarters.

After owning a 'stock' i was told rsx type s for many years i found a rusty NOS fogger in the drivers door pocket. Kind of explained the mysterious switch on the dash. Still, never had a single problem with the car.

Interesting what people leave behind when they sell a car, but you should see what you find when someone isn't expecting their car to be repo'd. One that still makes me laugh, and cringe, was a bag of ummm shall we say "female boredom toys"

I bought a 1970 Porsche 914 for $250. I completely disassembled the whole car and found a burgundy Porsche key chain in the car. It just so happens that it matched the interior of my 928S perfectly. Some things are just fate.

An old cigar butt (actually most of the cigar) under the seat of my old 914-6, and most recently a digital stopwatch from the 80's in my SC's passenger door pocket.

1st lapping session after buying the 930. Took everything out of the interior that was loose and that I knew about. On track for about 15 minutes when I go from the brake to the throttle... and a quart of oil had slipped out from under the driver's seat and went straight to interfering with the pedals.

Took pit in immediately and stored that lesson for future track days. Check carefully even when you are sure everything is removed...

I find starburst fruit chews and eat them. No longer chewy.
And jerkey if I can blow off the crap that's on it. I love dry jerkey.
Found a dry cleaning recept, some nice unknown old school amps under the seat of the car I drive right now after I bought it.
My last Porsche I found a big bolt cutter, some sheatmetal removed from the front trunk area which previously contained a perfect VIN, A GIANT 2 12 inch sub box on the folded rear seatbacks, a ghetto paint scheme, Hurst shift knob JB welded to the shift lever, missing fuchs and a Huge DP motorsports LARGE wing on back of my returned stolen car. O and some really nice fender trim......in chrome.

Also have found ammo (45 cal)...a flare (that was actually a stick of dynamite!)...and various tools.
The dynamite shook me up a bit...and when we fired it...it was very active!

Positive in all this was that the orange color gave it away, it was only training ammunition, not live.

Anyways it scared the heck out of me. I found it behind the driver seat.

All I ever found was a ball point pen and a very cheap screwdriver. And some dirt.

i have the best story here!

this was over twenty years ago when i was working on my 72E i had just bought. it was a very low (0024) serial number so made in Aug. 71 and was very original - unrestored condition when i bought it.
as i was working on it i found an unopened piece of wrigleys spearmint gum (in german) that must have fallen out of a workers pocket while he was working in the trunk area. thought it was kinda cool as the car was green too.
several days later when working in the interior i found a couple of japanese coins, both with a 74 date. these were in the back seat bottoms.....
a friend of mine still owns the car.
cheers, haas
