Reassembly of my car is off to a GREAT start...GRRRR
Putting together my pedal assembly tonight and the roll pin was awful. I put the assembly in the vice to press in the pin. Got it started and ended up having to use a 4 ft. long piece of pvc pipe over my vice handle to press it in. 80% of the way in, the end of the roll pin crushes.
![]() Off to the machine shop...sigh... On the flipside, while up in NoVa this weekend, I got to look at the bottom of jpnovak's pristine 71E this weekend, to see what the original pedal area of the floorpan looks like. Now I have my fabricated floorpan hammered out properly. ![]()
