Need a manual for a Blaupunkt Cheyenne CM42 radio. I had one with the radio I bought from a fellow pelican, but misplaced (lost) it, along with the radio code. I contacted Blaupunkt USA, useless..They gave me an e-mail address of somebody in the company, and I e-mailed him last week, no response. In the process of installing new speakers, amp with the radio and for the life of me, can't find the missing manual with radio code. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bob

from what i've gleaned on the internet, trying to remedy a missing code is pretty difficult. think i'll put mine in a safe place before i lose it. good luck

edit...might contact the fella that sold you the radio. maybe he remembers the code, or kept a spare copy somewhere safe, like with the car's registration papers.

For ten bucks, buy the manual. There may be over-ride info in there given it's a service manual.

Thanks guys, saw manuals on e-bay. Wanted to go pelican route first. Contacted p.o.hopefully he has radio code.

Volvo dealership was able to get my stock radio code once, they did an online look-up and I had it in 10 minutes.
Granted, not sure if Porsche would do the same thing, but the code is dumped if the dealership has to disconnect your battery, and you'd think they'd be equipped to help out.
