Sway bar bracket and drop link as well. That is a classic. Remember, car tires can develop a lump that can cause/exacerbate a normally mild issue. You might take the opportunity to check the balance on that tire? Don't mean to spend your money for you...
How about a shifting A/C compressor under the engine lid? An oil tank with a broken bracket? Engine lid that is not firmly seated via your screw-type rubber stops?

Follow up: This turned out to be a bad (defective) CV joint on the left axel. Sound wasn't really coming from the right side at all. One new axel later I was back up and running fine again, no more thunka, thunka.
